Greetings and welcome to the Tampa Alumnae Chapter website! We are pleased that you have taken time to visit and learn more about us. For the past 66 years, we have been serving the Tampa Bay community through programs focusing on educational development, economic development, physical and mental health, and social and political activism. Tampa Alumnae has awarded hundreds of scholarships and book stipends to college-bound high school graduates. We have received national recognition for promoting the academic achievement and leadership development of young ladies. We are also proud to be the home chapter for Dr. Paulette Walker, National 1st Vice-President, of our illustrious sorority.
As we prepare to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in 2013, we remain dedicated to the legacy of our 22 Founders who faced the challenges of their day and paved the way for positive change. The 200 members of Tampa Alumnae remain true to our commitment to support and uplift the community as we address the issues of our day. We hope you will follow our calendar and join us for upcoming events.
